197 EXTRICATION RESCUE IN DIFFICULT ACCESS AREAS The THERMIC POWER V2 portable exothermic cutting unit gives you the benefit of the very latest technical developments made to the ignition system, the oxygen bottle as well as the cutting rods. In collaboration with a french battery manufacturer, we have developed a miniaturized and ultra-light ignition system, with a high power and allowing more than 20 successive ignitions before recharging. The miniaturization of the THERMIC POWER V2 allows us to offer a unique solution, allowing the operator to position his ignition system on the right or left side of the carrying harness and remove it quickly when needed. We use a 3 L / 300 bar carbon fiber oxygen bottle which allowed us to significantly reduce weight and dimensions. The cutting rods in rolled metal allows a significant flow of oxygen and faster cutting. Cutting rods can be reignited after a voluntary or involuntary cutting interruption.
